Adam Wachtel is a man who firmly believes in Canadians' health and safety. In 1991, he founded Platinum Electrical Contractors Inc., a full-service electrical contracting outfit, specializing in many categories of the broad spectrum of the electrical construction industry. After years of supplying and installing many different brands of generators to the commercial, institutional and residential sectors, the Y2K concern was closing in fast. Adam decided to increase focus on residential generators, as the concerns at the time were very real. After installing a number of solutions by different manufacturers, Adam found the leading and most reliable brand in residential backup applications to be the Generac brand of Home Standby Generator. As a result, Platinum Electrical Contractors became a certified Generac Sales and Service dealer in 2005.

Platinum Electrical Contractors Inc. is a fully licensed electrical contracting company with many residential, commercial and institutional projects on the go. Adam has invested a lot in this division and as a result, our highly knowledgeable and caring technicians, installers and managers have installed and serviced countless generators.
